REACT NOW
REACT (Revolutionary Exotoxin A Combat Techniques) is a project that uses bioinformatics paradigms to combat the resistance of the superbug Pseudomonas aeruginosa , which is an opportunistic pathogen responsible for hospital infections. To this end, the research seeks to identify inhibitors of exotoxin A , which is related to the worsening of symptoms resulting from contamination by this microorganism. Thus, in silico (computational) methods, such as docking molecular , ADMET (Absorption, Distribution, Metabolism, Excretion and Toxicity) analysis and molecular dynamic simulations were used to screen chemical compounds derived from PJ34 , an already known inhibitor. Therefore, REACT aims to identify promising inhibitors for in vitro and in vivo testing, ultimately aiming to develop a drug and/or targeted therapies in a faster, more accessible and sustainable way.

REACT's mission
Going beyond the drug development process!
The REACT project's mission is to democratize scientific knowledge. Therefore, only open-source software for use in favor of science and a laptop were used. This way, anyone with access to these materials can use bioinformatics to deepen current knowledge about drug development by providing valuable data in this context!
